No plans to go this year. Lineup looks average. Any thoughts?

Looks slightly better than last year, but thats not saying much. But I have always maintained that the mainstage is traditionally full of crap, hoping for better stuff on the other stages. Mainly, I hoping for nice sunny weather, last year was terrible.

Against my better judgment I'm going again this year, living in Reading may have slightly swayed my decision (as I'd have had to go away for the weekend anyway to avoid the noise!) A little disapointed with the lock-up (where I usually spend most of my time) but still just about enough to entertain me throughout. Hopefully a strong comedy / whatever the tiny stage is called these days. Will likely pale beside 2000 Trees and Bestival but hopefully just about worth a half hour walk down the road.

I don't think that the Lock Up stage is that bad, there is definately enough there for me to watch. Me First and the Gimme Gimme's is definately a decent alternative to The Foo Fighters
Although, its nice that the Foo Fighters asked for The Joy Formidable to be on the lineup too. Probably the best thing Dave Grohl has done in years:)

I too buckled and got a ticket, some friends of mine were buying tickets on the installment thing and asked if I wanted one too (I think they presumed I would want to go as I always do!) - When they said there was 7 of them going, that swayed me as it was just me and a mate and his missis last year. Like all 3 headliners for once so that's a bonus, and well if nothing else it's a weekend on the lash with my mates!

Festie starts today, there a few bits and bobs on the line up of interest and Feeder on the Festival Republic stage would have been a bit of a trip down memory lane... All slightly pales into insignificance as we're expected our first child any day now (due today!), so I doubt a weekend pass to go Reading would have likely to have been on the cards anyway ;-)
