Good news indeed!! And how weird....I clicked on the punktastic link and found a review of a band called 4th Flaw on the site. They are a group of teenagers from the village I live in. They're pretty good too actually!! \m/

If you scroll down a bit in the 'news' box it's there. Taking Back Sunday were I think the band who had Flava Flav from Public Enemy in their video. They must have thrown a ton of money at him.

Punktastic is cool, its one of the first sites I look at when I turn my computer on. And the Phinius Gage forum is hosted on there so that makes me spend even more time on there. Its all good. Taking Back Sunday are going to be great, theres quite a bit of good punk etc music on the mainstage this year maybe that means the concreate jungle stage is going to have some English bands on ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D will be good.

Some more British bands would be cool but I can't see it happening. I think King Prawn were second on last year and the tent was ridiculously packed. Somehow the smaller US punk bands seem to be higher on the bill even if they haven't got as many fans.

I think most of King Prawns crowd were left over from the huge Funeral For A Friend crowd last year. The thing with the uk ska scene is that they all work so hard. I swear bands like Capdown, [spunge], lightyear and Five Knuckle haven't taken a day off from touring this country in the last 5 years. I'm not complaining, they're great bands, but it doesn't make them much of a commodity when it comes to festivals.

I will agree with you on that but Spunge have took many weeks/months off. Lightyear are no more. Capdown, Five Knuckle, 4FTs, Phinius Gage, Whitmore etc are all very hard working bands that hardly take a day off. But yeah Capdown are at Glastonbury this year and No Comply are at Deconstruction this year. (both are on the news page of punktastic) So I reckon things might look up and Mean Fiddler will do the same and get some UK bands playing.
