Why are people so anti pearl jam? Just curious, i adore the band and assumed everyone would be extatic when they were confirmed?

I tink there a kickass band, I think they will be a great headliner, I think its because everyone else is so bummed about Franz and the rest of thie shite lineup! I don't mind them. Hopefully there will be some quiet about for a while so I can get some serious drinking at the campsite before the nights run arounds!

I do think tho as the lineup doesnt sound all that "brilliant" so far peoples minds might change. Will the transplants be there after having to cancel last year?? goldfinger have a new album so maybe them to? same as boysetsfire who had an album in feb. AFI have a new album coming. So many bands who could possibly turn up

All new bands seem to be indie tho - what is happening to music? It´s nearly all crap!! Been listening to NME radio for 3 days - so far i´ve enjoyed 4 songs - all by bands i already knew, thought it would be a good way to hear some of the bands listed for Reading that i hadn´t heard before, all it´s done is depress me. Or am i just gettin old?

I'm not that old (I don't think) But I agree, alot of music is really shit that get into the charts, and even the stuff that doesn't is still shite. Give me Maiden, Sabbath and Zeplin anyday! How kickass a lineup would that be, all 3 playing headline slots.

According to efestivals flogging molly, mastoden, coheed & cambria and slayer are all strong rumours. Those four plus the official announcment of less than jake and gogle bordello would make a pretty good lineup announcment in my mind. Can but hope.
Oh yeh, and ACDC wouldn't go amiss either.
