I've always been a fan of the Brown fields, nice and close to your car/van, so you can go get extra cider supplies, but still not far from the arena...... Orange is cool, but a bit of a hike to the stages. Never tried any of the others as they're always full be the time we get to the festival!

Orange because -we've camped there every year... there's a short cut we know to the arena... it's close to a garage (with a flushing toilet), Pizza Hut, a chip shop and local pubs and well I like orange... lol

haha thats cheating using a travelodge, I perfer to kick it proper festival style and camp and end up with a fucked back from sleeping on uneven grounds and smelling like camel Reminds me the first time I went to reading I was speaking to some random pissed up guy who was covered in paint all over him and his glasses he said he came from Joe Bananas or something Im sure that was the name anyway, randomness. And safer......lol And yeah....we do smell rather good. And I end up feeling really sorry for the poor festie goers who have been sleeping in a tent for 3 nights already....

Maybe it's just cus I'm getting on a bit now! LOL <~~ fan of randomness.

hahaha I never liked camping untill the first time I went to Reading, but I find it fun now. If I stayed at a hotel or something during the festival id miss all the random fun after the bands have finished, I love my random pissed up 2am walks haha.

We can't go without our random 2am-4am walk n talks.. we talk to so many random people in the campsite and we end up finding loads of people we know... plus we go searching for bands we know are camping there like Phinius Gage... who we found last year -however we didn't see Matt the first night as he had apparently passed out somewhere...

I've voted for brown, only been there once but plan to go there every year from now on, just really relaxed (thought thats mroe to do with the people), a nice 10 minutes from the arena, 2 minutes from the toilets and whenever i got lost i seemed to magically walk back there

hmmm, has anyone here ever staying in the red campsite, or know anyone who has? Brown and orange definitely seem the most popular
