It's all about Friday in the Radio1 tent (Enter Shakiri, Subways and Ash) and Sunday on the main stage (FFAF, Lost Prophets and NIN) at the moment.... Chilli's are the only band I want to see on Saturday currently, but hopefully that'll change....

i use a mac... a reading countdown widget is much needed. It's nearly ready. Changing the default images is a bit tricky (possibly because the developer app is a beta) but I've got the front working perfectly. The back is the next task. Nice to know I'm not the only one on a Mac...

man whats the point in using a mac just get a pc instead. Then you can do all the things a mac can do plus all the things a pc can do too

Aah, you've seen the Mac adverts. Frankly, the ads are crap. As far as I can see, all the stuff they talk about doing on a Mac as opposed to a PC is stuff you can do on PCs, it's just easier and more elegant on Macs (I've used both...). All my work is Mac-based, hence the need to use one. But I like them, anyway. And I don't like Microsoft products. I don't even use Word.
Anyway, the Widget is cool. Someone must have a hack for making them work on Vista - it just appears to be a Javascript app.

Found this on the Wikipedia entry for Reading
"As of 20th March 2007, Mean Fiddler have officially confirmed the first ever 'late night' show as part of the Reading Festival. The band is unknown at present, but rumours are circulating that it will be the Beastie Boys. There are no other details confirmed at the moment."
Anyone else heard anything about this or is it just bollocks?

Interesting about that late night slot. They do that at Euro festivals as a chill out thing (e.g. Faithless playing after headliners Metallica) but i'm not sure if they'd be allowed to deo this at reading with licensing laws etc. Our laws are much stricter than those in Europe. Anyway, Tool have announced a show in Brixton on Aug 21st. Wamrup perhaps?
