It rained! ;D
BUT wasn't so bad as 97/98..
Didn't get there till late Friday due to a set of circumstances....(Don't even GO there!)
It only took an hour and a half to lug all our shit across the entire lengh of the site....Just to discover the tent's entrance was broken and the self inflating sleeping roll had a puncture, By 2 am had fixed tent door with tent string and pen knife...By 3am had drank enough beer and cognac to ensure didn't notice deflated bedroll (till morning).. But nature took a hand in distracting me from bumpy bed by opening the clouds for the day........
Cue more cognac,and beer,saved the Jack Daniels till evening..
(Had to take it relatively easy as buddy had adolescent kid in tow...So no class A's....... 
)
But the grass was sweeter than it seemed in London...
Didn't manage to catch many bands...Stayed away from the main drag..... Usual excuse was that had ' Gone back to the tent and slipped into something more comfortable' (like an alcohol induced coma.......
)
Hope all went well for everyone else,It wasn't bad...Just not so good as I had hoped....
Still...The seasons not over yet!...
