Thought it might be useful to have a seperate forum where ppl can ask anything about the new boards. Need to ask Reg anything? Maybe you need to know how to set up avatars, make sigs, check pms...that kind of thing..... Well here's where to do it. I wanted to know earlier how to get text to move across the post.....in the post message page there are a lot of tag buttons. It's great fun to experiment with them. Hover your arrow over them and you'll see what the less obvious ones do. And I discovered that you can change the colours of some of them....'glow' and 'shadow' for example.

Yea good plan, just worked out how to change my avatar/pic thing ;D
<--- thing over there for those folks that have no idea what I'm on about
Oh yeah and Reg, looks like for the right time to be displayed the 'offset' has to be put in for that users profile. Recon it's around +6.2

Nice avatar! Like your style! Do they have to be a set size? Isn't it 50x50 pixels or something?

It seemed to set a default of 65*65 but that was slightly off so changed it to 75*60 which looks ok now

the times of the post are all wrong If you register there's a section that allows you to change the time. I can't remember who it was but someone discovered that if you put '+6.2' in the box the time becomes nearly right. Hope this helps!

Has anyone else noticed the main web-site navigation frame (the bit that says "Fat Reg's Festies" and the links to the various bits of the main site) disappearing so you just get the message board? Doesn't happen all the time, but I sometimes lose it and don't know what's triggering it.

But then I do use that to navigate so I'm sure I would have.
