Yeah... I just worked that out. Except it doesn't always do that. I suspect it's a security thing or something. There are sites that just won't load into a frame. Perhaps the login page is one of them. The only other option, as far as I can see would be for the forum to open in a new window. Is anyone using the "keep me logged in option"? I may try that one at home and see what happens.

Strange. I've been using the 'stay logged in' option and it works fine, but I link to the forum from a 'favorite' in IE. Just tried using it throught the link from the fatreg.com front-page and it seems to forget the option, or it links in before it detects the 'logged in' setting. Maybe opening the forum in a new window is the simple solution.

And I've had to log in anyway a couple of times. Hmmmmm

Yep I can confrim that - if I get to the forum via a direct link in my IE favorites, it logs me in...
If I follow the link from the fatreg.com menu bar thingy I have to log in every time
It's as the Login page refreshes that the 'fatreg' menu bar vanishes - which, as Fat Reg suggests, probably means there's some sneaky HTML code in the Login page that strips out any frames (or other stuff) and forces the Proboard page to load in a clean window.
Reg, if you make the forum launch in it's own window, that may solve this - but I ain't making any promises
X (I want a 1000 geek points plz :-)

And the Festies bar is here. So...hmmmm...puzzling. LOL

Mar, are using the "keep me logged in" option to save you from having to login manually each time?

Mar, are using the "keep me logged in" option to save you from having to login manually each time? Yes I am. Seems to be working cus I always go to fatreg.com first, and I keep your title bars etc. If I come here from the proboards link you posted before putting this on your site I have to log on and the title bar is gone.

I think the "safest" way is to login via the two little boxes for user name and password that are to the top right of the board area, rather than clicking the "login" link that appears right at the top of the window.
