signaturesGo to 'profile' and in the 'signature' box you can put ..well...anything you like I guess. There is a restriction on how many letter characters you can type into the box though and coding counts for the character count too. For text in your sigwhen you make a post on the forum you will notice there are 2 rows of grey boxs above the text window. If you hover your mouse over each one it'll tell you what it does. You can have moving text, glow text, slanting text, different colours and sizes etc etc. Each one of these has it's own tag or code. If you click on the 'bold' box (B) for example this will appear in the text box: [b*]TEXT[/b*] ....with no *. I put that in to stop it actually working. so...for sigs and posts you can use this coding. Here are the most common tags: (take out the stars) [b*]YOUR TEXT - bold text[i*]YOUR TEXT - Italic text[u*]YOUR TEXT - Underlined text[size*=5]YOUR TEXT - size 5[color*=Red]YOUR TEXT - red text[move*]YOUR TEXT OR PIC[/move] - (can be used for pics and text and smilies) And you can do combinations of 2 or more... [b*][u*]YOUR TEXT - Bold, underlined textTo put a pic in your post or sigFind a host for your picture. Then type into the post text window [IMG*] Address of pic[/IMG*] (no stars) To link a pic in your post / sig without showing the address type Whatever you want to call your pic[/url*] (no star) It will look like this: My kids with LP @ Wembley Nov 2003If you have any further questions about signatures please post them in here. x Mar x
