2000 Trees - The way festivals should be

Just got back from 2000 trees, a tiny festival near Cheltenham. Was quite a contrast to the usual giant festival republic experience....

2 Days of music over 2 stages
40 quid for the weekend
Small site - you can see everything (both stages) at the same time
You can carry your own alcohol anywhere you want
Friendly staff - especially the security, the benefits of getting your own people as opposed to using a firm
And the most shocking bit of all.....reasonable prices at the bar. 3 pints of lager (can't think what) for 6 quid, a pint of 7% cider for 3 quid, double spirits for 4 quid....I was so shocked I had to have a drink

...just a pity about the rain really! ;D

Still, don't have to worry about that for another...4 and a half weeks
