The last time I did Reading on cider was back when Wigg was still with us (so must be at least five years ago) - he was quite keen on the strange power of the Burrow Hill Rough Cider they used to serve in the arena bars. 6.0abv, too, but replaced in recent years by Strongbow, which doesn't send you quite so loopy, though it tries its best...

what ya think of super strongbow? Ain't as pleasent as stongbow itself but does have it own charms.. can use the arena bars for the 1st time this year!

We had a couple of crates of 'super' in 2001, It tastes just like normal (well maybe with a bit more 'kick'), but the loopy behaviour factor gets multiplied by about 100....

I don't actually remember what happened when we had all that super....... I think we may have grown beards, rolled in filth and found a bench in reading town centre to sit on all weekend.... mmmm life of a tramp
