...has officially left the Darkness. Reckons it wasn't helping his drink/drug addictions. Bloody shame if you ask me, don't really see how they can keep going without the fella.

I'm gutted. I thought "One Way Ticket to Hell..." was a cracking album. Better than the first. Apparently the other three said they were going to carry on without him (how could they?) but Atlantic dropped the band immediately. So, that looks like it. It was good while it lasted, and rock will be rather more po-faced without them. After all, what other band could write a song about male pattern baldness, and make it rock like a bastard?
Let's hope we see them again.

They were absolutely awful the 2nd time they played Reading. very good the 1st time but then the joke wore off !
