Iron Maiden. HMV had a "2 for £10" deal going on, so I bought all the albums I didn't already own. Turns out Maiden have released a fuck of a lot of albums. Cost me about 60 quid... and some of 'em aren't all that good. Anyway, if you search the bittorrent networks, you can get hold of a cracking mp3 of their Download set at Donington this year. It's 175 megs, but well worth it. If you go here: ironmaiden.rockmetal.art.pl/download.html you can download a 1995 show (Gothenburg, Sweden) from the Blaze Bayley years (it's much better than you might imagine). The second show listed on the site (live in the USA, 1982) is dead links, though.

MC5 - "Back in the USA" Quite simply one of the greatest records ever made. Punk Rock And Roll for want of a better description. Er, you owe it to yourselves to own a copy of this album.
New York Dolls - "Live at Reading 2005" Getting me in the mood (though the bands won't be THIS good...)
Ramones - First four albums. Classics one and all. And heavily influenced by the MC5...

Alabama Thunderpussey - Open Fire.
Saw 'em a couple years back & they were OK but now they have Kyle Thomas singing for 'em they are fuckin great. Saw 'em Saturday & have had the cd on rotation ever since.
Real Old School southern rock with proper rock vocals.

Monster Magnet "4-Way Diablo". Fantastic hard-rockin' album.

Mindless Self Indulgence - IF
Not as good or as instant as "You'll Rebel To Anything..." but still a pretty decent album.
