I'll be at Orange Goblin me.
On the subject of KJ tho' but I bought their first 2 cds (they were LPs back then of course) last week as revision for October...kinda wish I hadn't bothered.
the original cds are fine tho' the best tracks are the ones I knew anyway but it's the 'bonus' extra tracks that brought back the full horror of the '80s.
Remember when bands felt the need to issue the 12" single in order to part the fanbase with as much cash as possible. Writing new songs was obviously too much like hard work & so this decade spawned ...god I can barely bring myself to type it . . .
The 'dub' remix...If ever there was a reason too lay off the skunk this has to be it. The same track with a shit reggae baseline tacked on.
I'd managed to wipe the memory of these horrors from my memory but it all came flooding back on Saturday.
That bloody Youth has a lot to answer for.

If we're talking 80s horror, I'd take a Killing Joke dub remix over Marillion, any day... eh, Dan?

ooh, the band what brought Belsize Park to fame.
Dan, I can do you a double cd of Killing Joke dub / dance / extended mixes if you like. I've even got a Killing Joke/Christina Aguilera mash-up ready to go, bet you can't wait.
