are calling it a day, real shame that.
The last gig is with Girlschool at the 100 Club on September 4th.
Girlschool were the second band I ever went to see. Demolition tour in 1980!!
Also on the bill Angel Witch & Algy Ward's Tank...those were indeed the days.

Balls, was really into them at one point (back when they seemed to be playing near me every month) but on reflextion guess I kinda lost track of them around the time the 2nd album came out.
Am at Bestival on the fourth too, so won't get to see them again. Hmmm, that's rather gash as it goes.
Well, of the 4 hyped 'new wave of rock n' roll' (or some similiar bollocks) bands that just leaves the glitterati, and they lost a few members didn't they? Apparently the fellas from Roadstar (formerly Hurricane party) have a new band going, anybody know if that's worth checking out?

Rattlesnake Remedy are well worth checking out if you're looking for classic rock played by young uns.
Quite liked Roadstar when I saw 'em with the Answer, haven't heard the spin off.

Tokyo Dragons were a great live act. First album really good, second more of the same, only not quite so memorable. Shame I'll never see 'em again - they were awesome when supporting Nashville Pussy.
