UK Outlook for Saturday 16 Aug 2008 to Monday 25 Aug 2008:
The period Saturday through to Tuesday next week will be generally unsettled and occasionally breezy across the United Kingdom with either showers or longer spells of rain. There is a fair chance that southern areas will have persistent and heavy rain at times. The temperature will be mostly around or slightly cooler than average for the time of year. Then from Wednesday onwards the current indications are that the weather may start to settle down a bit and become drier and brighter with more in the way of sunshine, especially in southern and eastern parts of England. Despite this, further north and west there remains the risk of a little more rain or showers at times.

Seems to more or less agree with the Metcheck site (Field or Pub...you decide, below).
They have cloud & sunny intervals all weekend.
I'll still be in the pub for most of it tho.

I've gone the whole of summer on blind faith, and I've not drowned yet. Sure it's rained quite heavily on some days (prompting me to scare the odd punter with screams of 'flash flood!'...directing cars is bloody boring) but that's just an inspiration to drink more surely Of the 5 Readings I've been to there's only been 1 trench like year so odds are good. ....wait.... actually that means there bad right? Shit.

Weather's lookin ne bad, rain forecast for Sunday morning at the mo, but reasonable for the rest of the weekend
Scattered heavy showers across central and eastern England on Friday, but largely fine elsewhere. Often wet and windy in the northwest over the weekend, but drier and warmer elsewhere.
;D
