Dillinger Escape Plan are immense and Coheed and Cambria are pretty good. The rest is just utter bandwagon jumping dirge though.

Distillers, yay a Hole tribute band as special guests. Why not put them on the regular bill and get someone truely special as Special Guests. I'm really getting disillusioned by this lineup, I keep telling myself that the lineup has to get better, but its not.

The singer, Brody Dalle (I think she's called) sounds like Courtney Love and as a result, their songs come across as material that wasn't good for "Live Through This". Whatever, they shouldn't be Special Guests, they should be put on the main lineup and someone better should be the Special Guests.

Right admittidly on the new album a few of the songs Brody does sound like Courtney Love. But the band themselfs are fuck all like Courtney Love, have you actualy heard any of the early Distillers material? There special guests because they have other festival commitments before Reading so couldnt be announced untill after them festivals as we have allready discussed on here. and they are on the main line up.

Funny how the official site is (once again) way behind everywhere else in being updated - there's still nothing about the Carling Stage or Concrete Jungle Stage line-ups on there. Nor have they sent out any press releasese about these, either...

And they're (presumably) being paid as well! Y'know, about six years ago, when I first got daily web access, I saw a need for a festival site, but didn't have a clue what to do. By the time I had any sort of idea, Mean Fiddler had farmed it out to someone else, probably at huge cost - a lesson there, I think: act fast!
