weeee. non gay forum. I am going to vote for the White Stripes anyway. As they're the only band with new stuff since I saw them last. I always thought their song Astro had the lyrics "potential fuzzy afro" but I just found out he actually sings "Maybe Jasper does the astro" bit of a mistake there.

Don't fret, Mar - twice last year I missed them playing in a 200 capacity club just 400 yards from my front door... how gutting is that? They were unknown at the time - Dan recommended them to me, but I didn't make either gig. Now I can't say "they were much better before they were famous" even though that's possibly not true.
I saw the Cranberries playing as support to Belly in 1993 or 1994, you know, but it's nothing to be proud of. And they were crap. The Cranberries that is - Belly were ace.

Ok i actaully voted for greenday although my vote has been counted towards the darkness, go figure. Anyhow i did have the luck to see the darkness in a small venue supporting the wildhearst back in 2002, only 4 people in the crowd bothered to watch and they were indeed brilliant. Not that they wern't good last year but its better being a metre away in a small venue rather than 10s of rows back in a field, even at reading. I last saw greenday in 2002 at distortion so i know they'l be good, should be playing some new material too as i'm assuming their gonna be promoting their new album which is out soon after.

I'm going with the Darkness but it is tough choosing anything hehe. At least the Stereophonics aren't playing I guess.

didn't vote as none of them are really my cup of tea got respect for the stripes, lots of my mates used to like greendqay..but seem to have grown out of them. saw the darkness last year and was a little disapointed..was expecting more guitar solo's and tight lytex..thought they were just a poor mans ac/dc (now they know how to put on a show)..plus i also think the darkness are up their own arses..they've taken the whole cliched heavy rock were taken the piss out of ourselves stuff too far.. and slating michael evais was bang out of order! anyway rant over
