maybe we can set up something to exchange bootlegs from festivals and gigs? I got a bunch of stuff and I'm greedy so I always want more. Would anyone be interested?

I imagine there will be a whole load of people up for that... including me, I daresay. Why not post a list of what you have and see what happens?
I've "stickied" this topic to see how it goes.

Hmm. I would but Mr. Jimmy there has every single Reading show that I have. Wouldn't mind getting hold of Amen @ Reading and Prodigy @ Big Day Out though.

On the subjects of online tracks... The first 6 tracks of Graham Coxons new album 'Happiness in Magazines' is available as streaming audio at nme.com. Those who know how can then record to mp3 . A goodun it is too. They've also got links to a live F4AF track thats up for download (for 99p)

wait for the shows to be broadcast on the radio, record them to minidisc, into the pc as a .wav file and finally convert the .wav file into mp3 format. Or if someone else has already done such a thing just download from them.

If you can get the radio online (like Radio1 as real-audio) and have a decent enough internet connection for a good sound, then you can record direct on PC and save as .mp3
(using a digital audio editor like SoundForge.. bought of course, for huge amounts, and in no way downloaded from a well know p2p file sharing program)

Or... Ring up your mum when you're in the pit and get her to record it down the phone with a microphone on to your Dads old ghetto blaster.
