See tickets are no longer listing the festival as sold out, instead you fill in all your details and then are told theres a problem with your order, and that you should ring them to check on availability.
I suspect this may be alluding to the fact that many card transactions will have bounced over night, meaning more tickets up for grabs. One of my friends was able to get tickets in this manner last year, lucky sod only rang up to ask about future batches as well!

lol....well making sure people have the funds its always a start plus i guess many put their card details in wrong i guess

Remember there are ALWAYS tickets available, even once the festival has begun. Just walk up to the box office and buy one. Of course, it feels better knowing you have one for certain, but last year you could still buy them on Friday after the bands had started on the main stage. As Corporal Jones would say: "Don't Panic!"

but saying that in 2005 they sold out on thursday evening. My mate stu couldnt get in and brought a wristband off some guy outside the entrance which turned out to be fake. £180 he spent on it

Maybe it was because 2005's line-up was better than last year. My guess is you'll still be able to buy weekenders on Saturday this year!
