Well, I like Morrissey's arch wit. Plus Johnny Marr's tunes were pretty good (though always better with vocals - Smiths' instrumentals were very dull indeed). And some of Mozzer's solo stuff is great.

Is the new cd really good or is it another Wildwood kinda thing where aging journalists over praise substandard products from artists from their youth.
Don't ya think its pathetic when middle aged folks big up old has been bands from 20 years ago in some sad atempt to still seem in touch & relevant.
Still...only 3 weeks to Judas priest & two months & countin' to the mighty Sister....wahey!!!

Now I have my ADSL (muah) I can do such things....hehe
A friend of mine in US has seen him 4 times recently and raves about how good he is live. I was a little disappointed though when she said he doesn't do any Smiths stuff....boo i say to that...but nvm. I think I might give him a chance at Reading anyway.

He's been playing a few recently. Be interesting to see what his Glastonbury set is like.

He has plenty of good tunes but he seems a bit pretentious. I like how he cancelled his live Peel session recently when he found out he had to play in front of 15 competition winners. That really amused me for some reason.
