Ok i just got a phonecall from ticketmaster. As far as i can remember this is how it went...
' This is a recorded messgae from ticketmaster. It contains important information...'
Then silence... my phone didn't work for the next 10 minutes, occasionally there was a sorta buzz. So i went online, don't know if my phones working or not.
You think this means anything or are they just gonna appear at my door saying that they've started selling phones and as mine appears to be broken...?

It happened last year, the tickets didn't turn up until the very last minute and with Way Ahead Box Office you had to collect the tickets from the venue. You would have though they would have sorted this out, they've had a whole year to do it.

No, I wanted to but one of my friends couldn't get the time off work, so we chose Reading instead. You can't go without your mates can you? I'm kind of glad actually because as it turned out, Metallica are the only band on the entire bill that I wanted to see. The ticket distribution was appalling last year like I said, I would have thought they would have sorted it out for this year, it takes the piss that they didn't.

I'm going to download, in little under 2 hours in fact, but my ticket cames about 3 weeks ago so don't know why they'd ring me... perhaps they realised they shouldn't and thats why they hung up, anyway i'm off to download now ;D

Yeah, I'm beginning to wish I had gone for the Sunday. Watching Metallica would have been so much better than working.

Forgive me for sounding like an old gadgy but did anyone see Iggy and the Stooges? How were they? Yeah they were perhaps the best band of the weekend. They played excellently, much better than when i saw iggy by himself at distortion 03. Iggy jumped into the crowd, climbed and teared down bits of the stage and then incited the crowd to storm the stage, which we then did, security didn't stand a change really. Being on stage with the stooges playing was without a doubt the highpoint of the whole weekend, just looking out on the whole crowd man, amazing stuff.

Haha sounds quality! I thought Iggy by himself at Leeds 2001 was brilliant so that must have ruled. I wish there was another special guests slot they could fill this year.
