Saw a replay of download on Scuzz last night & I quote "On average each person will consume 4 pints of lager each day".
Come on people, someone's not pulling their weight!

I thought that that was a bit strange too. If you take all the water drinking people out of the equation it must be a couple of pints higher at least

Lager with the footy - England to be beaten by the french in, ohh, 1 hour or so.. And it was going so well too, if only there had been no injury time to play

Tey just looked like they lacked fire and passion - particularly after an hour had passed, they were being caught in possession and losing the ball too often. From that point, the French win looked inevitable.
Personally, I've never rated Eriksson (he's a hopeless tactitian), and his ludicrous devotion to Emile Heskey is now beyond a joke - that lumbering donkey has the worst scoring record of any international striker and gave away the free kick that turned the game France's way. Time he was ditched from the squad. And as for David James - Henry was never going to reach that ball, so James should have stopped himself, but oh no, he'd already hit the self-destruct button. And taking Rooney off was a disaster - he should have been left on to link with Vassell. The whole thing was shameful.
I was going to get home early to see Thursday's game, but not any more. They may wear three lions on their shirts, but they lie down like lambs on the pitch.

Heskey, jeez. Wot the fuck does Sven see in him?
If the first half was a sign of things to come then fingers crossed we should do pretty well.. 'semi final losers' again anyone?

Yes, Heskey's record is:
Caps: 43 Goals: 5
And he's been in the starting line-up far too often. That's a midfielder's scoring record, not a "top-flight" forward's. Needs to be sacked. Now.

Heskey recently joined Birmingham for 3.5 million and for me even that is a bit pricey. I was fairly gutted but every time I watch England there is always a voice in the back of my mind telling me a disaster is about to happen.
They should get Bobby Robson back. And the press needs to stop saying that they are one of the best teams in Europe. They just can't live up to it.

Even the commentators seem to believe they're a top side. Eriksson's been very, very lucky results-wise. Watching the way the Swedes broke down the flanks last night was a lesson in attacking football - watch and learn Sven...

Well, I don't drink, so I guess it'll have to be Tango or something. I'd take root beer, but it don't taste too good warm.
As for England, well, I think the same as everyone else about Heskey. However, I don't think you can blame James for anything. I think Sven's a good manager, but theres only so much a manager can do. It the players that actually play the game.
