just wondering what people thought would be the ultimate line up made up from bands past and present, dead or alive.
im thinking just name three for main stage and three for a smaller stage for each day - bearing in mind the ultimate bands to open a festival, see on the main stage rather than on a smaller tent stage (&vice versa) and indeed the ultimate bands to close the fest.
ive still got my thinking cap on but will post my thoughts drekly...

Heres the Radio 1 Tent........
Friday : Thrice, The Mars Volta, Rival Schools
Saturday: Incubus, Deftones, System Of A Down
Sunday: Billy Talent, Hell Is For Heroes, Million Dead
okay, so some of these bands are more of a main stage band, and some of the main stage bands are a bit more suited to an intimate tent moment.......... .........so mix a few around a bit and I think it'll work out just fine!
Im pretty sure i'll get a heavy slating for this!!

I'll just do the top 3 slots.
Fri - Led Zepellin, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains Sat - Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, Beck Sun - Metallica, AC/DC, Faith No More
no need for good bands on other stages as I'd be watching the mainstage.
