No, not 2007, but last year. Everything should have had time to sink in by now, so what's your top three of 2006?
For me: 1. The Feeling 'Twelve Stops and Home' 2. Neil Young 'Living With War' 3. Silver Sun 'Dad's Weird Dream'
Re-issue of the year: Pretenders 'Pretenders (double CD) - just pipped Drive for the honours...

Obviously drive - discography was THE cd of the year.
After that 'Some day it Will Please Us To Remember Even This' by the New York Dolls.
& Sleep Is The enemy at number three as it's the only other new cd I bought last year.

1) The Devin Townsend Band - Synchestra 2) Edguy - Rocket Ride 3) Bullets and Octane - In The Mouth Of The Young

It's not out til October but I'm listening to it right now 'cos I'm better than you.
Gig of the year will be EES supporting drive in Osaka Fandango in May....see, better than you in every concievable way!

Well, Actung Bono was 2005, but it's so good (and last year was so poor for albums) that it's well worthy of inclusion. Good choice!

Having been priviledged enough to hear Transworld Ultra Rock, I can confirm that it's flippin' amazing. So, to your calendars, folks. In big, red letters, write "NEW EEL SHOCK ALBUM" across October. You won't want to do anything else that month.
